Technovation is a platform to work on fully funded and mentored engineering projects. Put together by the Science club, Technic, and Enthuse( IITB academic council), it truly was 'Magic with Engineering'. All projects under this hood were fully funded, mentored and certified. The teams involved in these projects consisted of students from all years and across various disciplines, with each project promising to be equally multi dimensional.
As most of you would know, the orientation for Technovation was held on the 30th of September in F.C. Kohli Auditorium, where we presented the basic ideas behind the program as well as project topics for you to choose.
The STAB (Students Technical Activity Body) team had floated out a list of interesting projects, which include prophetic ones like, the tum-tum tracker, book keeping bot, underwater glider, singing arcs to name a few. More than 300 students registered for the various projects (a whopping 170 freshies!). These projects have an insti-wide scope and some promise to go further beyond. The challenges presented in all projects are aimed at developing reliable solutions for real world engineering problems and encouraging independent thinking. The in- semester projects allotted under Technovation promise hands- on learning for the students and a lot of fun!
